On my laptop (which is very nice for a laptop but still a laptop) we often get stuck in the forever saving mode. It's like the game just falls asleep and forgets it was oh the middle of doing something. We could let it sit for 2 hours and it would just spin the saving circle until the screensaver triggered and then it would still be saving the next day, I'm sure of this.
Why??? Why does it do this? We are trying to notice anything unique about when it occurs sand just now we had been in buy debug.. We didn't turn it off after we did our cheaty work, I doubt the game would be that delicate, to not be able to save just because of that, but I THINK the last time it did this to me we had been in debug too. Is there a real reason why this happens?
