I have two old laptops as I want to be useful again. ('Fujitsu-Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535' and 'Advent 1315Nordic')
The big problem is that both of them have nightmare chipset SiS.
When I tried to googled a bit, I found that one of the computers(V5535) had been sold with Knoppix4. http://www.v-mp.com/universal-database/ .. bile-v5535
So it feels like there should be some hope of Linux drivers out there somewhere which works to 100%

I tried to install Linux Mint Xfce 18.1 on (V5535) and I followed this https://sites.google.com/site/easylinuxtipsproject/sis
The graphics works, but I get high cpu temp In in Linux 71C. in windows i have around 55CI'm just going to have them for little things like browse around online and internet radio. small stuff like that.
So which Linux distribution do you think would work on those?
Preferably without burning up my cpu's
